Steven Card Obituary

Steven C. Card, 59, formerly of Lansford passed away Wednesday March 13, 2024 in Elkton MD.

Born in Patterson NJ on December 24, 1964 he was the son of the late Florence (Ivory) and Richard Card.

He was of the Christian faith.

Steve last worked as a drywall installer in the construction trade.

He was a kind, gentle, hardworking man that was always willing to help his family, friends, colleagues and anyone else in need.  He was a very spiritual man that enjoyed discussing anything regarding spirituality. He enjoyed working on projects and building things with his brother-in-law Randy and immensely enjoyed his sweets. He loved the outdoors and his furry friends especially Nimi and Leroy.  You could always count on him for being a jokester, pulling pranks and more specifically, his “Wet Willies”.  He will be missed by all who knew him but will live on in everyone’s loving memories.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Richard, Allen and Arthur Card.

Steve is survived by; son Steven C. Card, Lansford; son Zachary Card, Lansford; brother John Card (Cathy), Lansford; brother Ricky Card, Lansford; brother Timothy Card, Pottsville; sister Joyce Acosta, Coaldale; sister Terry Masters, Lansford; sister Evelyn Becker (Kelly), Summit Hill; sister Lynn Hoback (Randy), Elkton MD; "adopted granddaughter" Myla; many nieces & nephews.
