Lorraine M. Hamilton

Lorraine M. Hamilton, 54, of Pottsville, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at Geisinger-St.

Luke’s in Orwigsburg.

Born in Philadelphia on December 1, 1969, she was the daughter of Margaret “Peg” Gamber.

Lorraine was the wife of the late Gregory Hamilton. They married in 1995 and were happily

married for 15 years until Gregory’s passing in 2010. During that time, they remodeled a

Victorian home together in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

Lorraine was a Baptist and of the Christian faith.

She graduated from Roxborough High School in 1987, and last worked as a receptionist.

Lorraine had a deep affection for animals, especially bluebirds, bunnies, and her cats. Her love

for her cat late Dandelion was particularly strong. In memory of Dandelion, Lorraine's Cancer

Support Group was named Dandelion Wish. In her last days, Lorraine wished to be reunited with

her beloved husband Greg and Dandelion in the afterlife. She adored the autumn season, enjoyed

listening to music, and was a big fan of the band Sisters of Mercy. Lorraine will always be

remembered for her grace and her love for fashion and beauty.

Surviving are; mother Margaret “Peg” Gamber, and children Andrew and Willow Hamilton,

Pottsville; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services and internment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
