Jane C. McFee, 94, of Milford NJ formerly Elysburg passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon April 20, 2024, at Abington Manor at Morgan Hill-Easton. 

Born in Shamokin on April 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Leona M. (Cook) and Elmer E. Crowl. She was a 1948 graduate of Ralpho Township High School. 

Jane married James B McFee in December of 1949, in Elysburg, Pennsylvania and they were married for 60 years.  

She was of Protestant faith and was a member of Elysburg United Methodist Church. 

Jane’s working career began in Persing's potato chip factory. There she learned to love potato chips and continued to enjoy them for the rest of her life with a cold can of Pepsi!  Raising four sons was a full-time job!  For a short time, Jane worked at Bambergers Department Store in New Jersey.  Later she became the proprietor of McFee’s Tailored Pets in Flemington NJ for many years.   

Jane was a collector of China and crystal.   She and her husband enjoyed playing bridge with neighborhood couples in North Plainfield. Jane found great pleasure in any activity that included her family and all her extended family. She was known for her sense of humor, reminiscing, and sharing family history. 

In addition to her spouse, James B McFee, she was preceded in death by; son Thomas; son James; brother Kenneth Crowl; brother Fred Crowl. 

Jane McFee is survived by; son Chris McFee (Virginia), Milford NJ; son Michael McFee (Lisa), Stewartsville NJ; brother Jack Crowl (Phyllis), Elysburg; grandchildren Erica, Michael, Ryan & William (Taylor) McFee; great grandchildren Karl Andrews & Charlotte McFee; sister in law Carol Crowl, Elysburg; daughter in law Wendy McFee, NC;  and many nieces & nephews. 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM from the Elysburg United Methodist Church. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the church on Wednesday morning April 24th from 10-11:00 AM. Burial will follow services at Northumberland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Jane’s memory to Elysburg United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 171 W. Center St, Elysburg PA 17824.
